Startpit customers
Only professional businesses can register and use the platform. Private consumers cannot create an account.
Buyers are verified professional automotive repair businesses that purchase new automotive parts for installation, repair, or servicing activities. Buyers can:
- Search parts using VIN, licence plate (where available), TecDoc navigation, text search, bulk upload or advanced step-by-step search.
- Compare offers from multiple Sellers.
- Place orders.
- Manage deliveries.
- Submit claims.
- Communicate with Sellers.
- Monitor purchasing limits.
- Evaluate Sellers after completed transactions (this feature is under development).
Sellers are verified manufacturers, authorised dealers, distributors, and aftermarket suppliers of new automotive parts. Sellers can:
- Provide and update credit terms, delivery prices and terms.
- Upload and manage product catalogues.
- Publish live product availability.
- Receive and process orders.
- Offer backorders and split deliveries.
- Manage pricing and commercial conditions.
- Handle claims.
- Communicate with Buyers.
- Monitor Buyer reliability through ratings (this feature is under development).
